It is starting to go downhill. A little as a few months ago, the game was great fun, but a large chunk of the community that made is game great has left.
Added to this is the moderation and administration staff, who seem to be in a downward spiral as to how much they care and support the game. |

I've played quite a few different browser based games, and this one is definitely my favorite. The game never resets, so you can build your kingdom up as much as you can manage. Also, the player interaction (be it kingdoms, or alliances, or just friends)is smooth.
If your tired of having all of your work constantly reset because of game mechanics, and just want to play in one endless world forever, this is the game for you. |

Aegis might be a hard game to master at first, then you notice there is a community and unwritten laws and it will become even more complex.

Been playing the game for 4 years. It has had some problems with changes in admin a few times due to a lot of cranky players driving the staff away. But it has been steadily improving due to the team of eldars and great community involvement. |

Based on a medieval fantasy setting.
Been playing it 4 years, no fancy graphics, just a text based game, best descrived as chess meets simcity. Which means you are drawn into the game and community rather than being stuck watching repetitive eye candy.
Its free to play, just take a turn every 2weeks to avoid deletion. |
